Magic Realism Creative Writing Group

Running since November 2024 at Word on the Water, these monthly sessions
gather like-minded writers of magic realism, surrealism, absurdism and anything
bending the rules of reality. Sessions are two-and-a-half hours in length and cover
writing exercises, readings and feedback on the work of fellow participants.

Walking Workshops
Hampstead Heath

Whether you’re new to London or know it like the back of your hand, there’s
always something new to see, hear and experience on Hampstead Heath.

A haven of nature in the midst of a busy city, the morning is spent exploring the Heath,
reading and discussing poetry and even getting down to a little bit of writing yourself.

Workshops run from 11AM – 1PM, finishing in time for a
well-deserved lunch in one of Hampstead’s famous pubs.
